Vintage Warehouse 65 Bi Xenon HID H4 Halogen Conversion Kit 8000k
Here we have HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps are a breakthrough in vehicle lighting technology and are found in many current production cars. Now classic cars can benefit from this technology with this H4 Bi Xenon HID bulb conversion kit
This 8000k HID headlamp bulb kit offers a crisp blue white light that is up to 300 times brighter than a 55w halogen bulb, this gives better night vision and safer driving in all low-light conditions. Unlike some kits which use two bulbs or a Xenon dip and halogen main beam, this kit uses a special H4 fitting HID bulb unit which is switched, using a solenoid actuator, between dip/main beams. The kit also benefits by drawing less current than standard bulbs, so loads through original wiring a switches are greatly reduced.

Upgrading to HID is straight forward with this high quality, plug & play kit. The kit includes a self contained wiring harness, with a multi plug connection to the existing headlamp wiring, no cutting or permanent modification is required to the car’s wiring harness. The kit uses OE quality push-fit waterproof connectors and ultra slim ballast (that can be concealed as required on installation) making this one of the best HID bulb kits on the market.

FITMENT NOTE: This kit does not include the head lamp units. If your car is already fitted with H4 halogen headlamps, this kit is a direct fit. However, if your car is fitted with sealed beam units, P45 or other types of headlamps you will need to purchase an H4 halogen conversion separately, see the listings below.
In certain Classic Car models of car typically with 7″ Headlights held within a mounting bowl fitting this kit will require an additional hole to be drilled in the headlamp bowl to accomodate the HID diode unit and holes may be required to pass cables through inner wings etc
LEGALITY: Unfortunately no aftermarket HID kit is strictly road legal as you are changing the lighting system (from halogen to gas discharge) in your car and for this reason the bulbs can’t be E marked which is a legal requirement.
You also won’t have the self leveling and washer systems installed which is also a legal requirement for HID and without these installed the kit would be an MOT failure.
Our HID kits are plug and play so they are easy to remove and replace with standard bulbs come MOT time, although a converted car is unlikely to fail an MOT test on headlamps just in case you could ask your tester first to be sure
